STUDIO FAQ

  • all appointments are submitted as booking requests and must be approved. after booking, you'll receive an intake form and waiver by email that must be completed before your appointment can be approved. depending on your service, you may also receive additional pre-appointment instructions.

  • a valid card on file is required to book all appointments. some services may also require a non-refundable retainer, which will be applied toward your remaining balance.

    please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel, reschedule, or make changes that reduce the services booked for your appointment. late cancellations, reschedules, service reductions, and no-shows may be subject to applicable fees or forfeiture of any non-refundable retainer paid.

    a 7-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. after 15 minutes, your appointment will be considered a no-show and may need to be cancelled.

    brow body has a zero-tolerance policy for no-call, no-shows and locked or otherwise inaccessible cards on file used to avoid applicable fees. clients who violate this policy will be indefinitely prohibited from booking future appointments with us.

    by booking an appointment, you agree to brow body's booking, cancellation, late arrival, no-show, and payment policies. policies are subject to change. please refer to our booking site for the most current policies.

  • we accept all major cards, tap to pay, your card on file, and exact cash.

  • brow body is an appointment-only studio.

  • we offer a 7-minute grace period. after that, your appointment may need to be shortened, modified, or cancelled depending on the remaining time available. shortened or modified appointments due to arriving late do not result in a price adjustment. if your appointment cannot be completed, a 40% cancellation fee may apply in accordance with our booking policy.

  • yes! guests and children are welcome as long as they remain seated, supervised, and respectful of the studio throughout the entire duration of your appointment. if they become disruptive to your service or another client's experience, we may need to reschedule your appointment and all fees will apply. note: kids are not allowed during pmu services

  • for the quickest response, please text (703) 688-2846. while you're always welcome to send us a message on social media, we aren't able to monitor dms during business hours. if your inquiry is time-sensitive, texting is the best way to reach us.

  • once your appointment has been approved, you'll receive detailed arrival instructions. our building remains locked & under surveillance at all times, so you'll need to use the call box to be buzzed in for your appointment.

SERVICE FAQ

  • brows: gentle wax [hard or soft], threading, tweezing, and razor.

    face: gentle wax [hard or soft] or threading

    brazilians/body waxing: hard and/or soft wax

  • our hybrid stain can last up to 8 days on the skin and 4 weeks on the brow hairs. longevity varies based on skin type, color choice, intensity, skincare, lifestyle, and aftercare.

  • brow stain can be done as often as needed. most clients book every 2 weeks to maintain the color and keep their brows enhanced between appointments.

  • brow lamination redirects and sets the brow hairs into a fuller, more styled shape.
    lash lift lifts and curls your natural lashes for a more open, defined look.

  • use Sweet Conditioning Oil daily to keep your brow hairs conditioned between appointments. brush and style your brows in place.

    our Lami Care Bundle ♡ is also a great in-between service to help keep the brow hairs as healthy as possible.

  • we recommend waiting at least 6–8 weeks between brow laminations and lash lifts to help maintain healthy hair.

  • PMU is a form of cosmetic tattooing where pigment is implanted into the skin to create longer-lasting enhancement of the brows or lips.

  • brow stain temporarily colors the skin and brow hairs that lasts up to 2 weeks. ombré powder brows are cosmetic tattoos that implant pigment into the skin for a much longer-lasting result up to 1-3 years.

  • yes! topical numbing is used during your PMU appointment to help keep you comfortable throughout the service.

  • for best results, wax consistently every 4–6 weeks, avoid shaving between appointments, and gently exfoliate + moisturize regularly to help prevent ingrowns.

  • yes! for brazilian waxing, please wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. keep in mind that you may be more sensitive during your cycle.

  • hair removal: increased skin sensitivity may occur.
    PMU: PMU cannot be performed while pregnant or breastfeeding.
    lift/lami: results may vary. please consult your healthcare provider prior to booking.
